I agree with their objectives as stated, though do not know whether I would approve of all of the material that Tolerance.org distributes. At any rate the SPLC has good articles on racist churches and church groups.

The author writes about different methods of interpretation, allegorical or literal, and even the differences within literal interpretations. He explains the different methods of prophetic revelation and some possible methods of their interpretation. He explains about covenants. He explains the different rapture theories and their essential bases and arguments. He discusses the tribulation, armageddon, the judgments, resurrections, the millenium, the new Jerusalem. He discusses rationally, not emotionally and in my opinion is quite thorough.

Recommended Church groups

Disclaimer: this does not necessarily exclude churches not on the list, but is a recommendation based on my experiences and visits to particular churches. I am not necessarily recommending other church groups of the same denominations, as I have not visited them. I have refrained from making a negative list, but will send honest opinions of individual church bodies I have seen to anyone considering churches in the area in and around Milan. From what I have seen, the churches on the list below are safe for the moment. From experience I know that time and change of leadership can change a local church body. Before going to a church, always try to inform yourself about their doctrine beforehand. Keep your eyes and ears open for signs of manipulation. Listen to your intuition. If something is bothering you about a church, but you can't put your finger on it, it may be better to go somewhere else. Why so cautious? People who have been burned are careful when handling fire. International Church of Milan - a non-denominational bible-based church. It was founded to service the Americans living at Milano, and meets at Milano Tre, a bedroom community of Milano. It is not distant from the American School which is located south-south-east of Milano. The church itself does not own a building, but meets in rooms graciously provided by the local Catholic parish. Services are held in English, but from January or February of 2007 on, Italian will be added. In the fall of 2006 a youth program will be initiated, welcoming English-speaking students from all over the world.

In order to get a colored border in Firefox, I had to work out a CSS version here below. I used tables, couldn't be bothered with divs. The code worked for me in IE and Firefox, giving identical results. The text is centered and the button centered on the page, just like you see it on this page. If you want to use it to make your own button, feel free to do that. By changing the borders and colors, much more exciting effects can be reached, I'm just not that geeky and am satisfied that I have gotten this far with it. Have fun.
